When I put car into drive it will not move or in any gear. It also has the slap-shift and will not move once it is in any gear.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.
If it does not move at all in any gear, have you checked to make sure there is not a broken axle or CV joint? Also, have you checked the transmission fluid? When you place it in gear, is there any drag on the engine? If you rev the engine, does it seem like it is in neutral?
Let me know if this happened all at once or you were noticing something changing. If the check engine light was staying on prior to this, let me know that too.
