Transmission shifts more sharply from first to second?

When starting with a stronger gas, it shifts more sharply from first to second gear. When I start normally, it shifts well.

Sounds like it's operating normally. When you are applying more power from the engine the transmission shifts differently than if you were driving sedately. The reason is that when it is under the heavier load as you give it throttle it will shift faster and with more force to minimize the slippage in the clutches and create less heat. However, if you are slowly picking up speed it will slip a little more and be more comfortable.
