Transmission shifting hard

Transmission hesitates to go into second and third kicks hard when it does. Also, TOD light on and i cannot find dip stick to put fluid in. how do i fix these problems? i have extremely low income.

Hello,

If the engine has low vacuum to will cause the transmission to shift late and hard. The main cause for this condition is a plugged catalytic converter. The TOD light will be on as well becasue the computer sees that it is not going into overdrive.
