Transfer case

I am going to look at a truck today an if I take it.The drive is about forty miles. It needs front an rear output seals on the transfer case.Will driving it back to my place be alright with that issue? I do not want to mess anything up on it. Four wheel drive will not be used at all during the trip. Probably just make sure it works when I am looking over the truck.

The truck has 170,000 not 17,000.I do not know how to change that on top.

we do not know how bad it leaks so cannot tell you. just make sure it is full of oil and once warmed up if you see any smoke out back check to make sure it is not leaking terribly.
