Transaxle splines was damaged?

This vehicle snapped the right lower control arm and the inside cv joint. When this happened at least one spline on the carrier inside the transmission was damaged. Is this a replaceable part or is the transmission shot. Could a new cv axle be installed and the vehicle driven without issues? I included some photos trying to show the damage.

Yep you look okay as far as the splines are concerned, I would install a new axle seal and run it. Thanks for the images they helped. Please use 2CarPros anytime we are here to help.
