When removing the transmission does it come out from the top or the bottom?

Hi,

Interestingly, I am only finding directions for the removal of a manual transmission. However, I know that the automatic, as well as the manual, come out from the bottom.

The procedure requires the engine to be supported from the top.

Not to confuse you, I attached the last few steps below related to a manual transmission. I wanted you to get an idea of what is done.
