Transmission downshifting hard and when shifting up it hesitated to shift

Does not feel like it is slipping. Feels almost as if it is losing communication from the computer. And engaging then disengaging over and over again.

Good morning.

It is very possible that it needs an update to the TCM. They require updates just as your home computer needs updates as well.

Have you kept up on service? Have you change the oil/filter in the trans as needed? A lot of times, sticking valves in the valve body will cause this.
