Transmission, harsh shifts

2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX
190,000 MILES • 3.8L • V6 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

Car has hard "jerk" shift 1-2, 2-3. Acceleration hesitate and shifts a little too when this happens. Not consistent, only once every three short trips. Wondering if it's a solenoid (which I can fix) or something outside my abilities

I would try to have the transmission serviced first, fresh fluid and filter can help, please let me know what happens we can go from there.
