Transmission will not shift to first and second automatically

The transmission operates fine if I shift from first to second manually, it goes through the rest of the gears after. So far I have changed the transmission shift solenoid.

Have transmission inspected. Could be any number of issues and 99% of them are likely a transmission problem, i.E. Worn gears, worn clutch, slipping, bad or blown seals, etc.
