Transmission not working properly

Goes in gear but kicks out in a couple minutes.

Hi Donald,

Have you checked to make sure the fluid is clean and full? If it is low, this could happen. Also, does it make a difference if the engine is warm or cold? When it kicks out, can you place the gear lever in 1 or 2, and then the vehicle moves?

If you haven't yet, check the transmission fluid level and condition. If you look below, I included the directions for testing specific to your vehicle.
