Pull code, says its a code 74, which means PMV open or short to ground. Performed diagnostic test, and according to the Mitchell Manuel, I need to "repair open ckt in 140." Can anyone please tell me what that means, EXACTLY, are they talking about the computer board on the PCM?

the wire in question has no continuity from its source back. assuming you did the diag, you know where the 2 ends of the wires are located.
