After I had parked my car at work on a slight downhill at work I came home and just as I parked I the traction control light and brake warning lights came on. The brake light is flashing, traction control and oil light is solid.

I had the same issue on my car last year and I tried something I found online, and it fixed the issue. I can’t remember exactly what was done, which is why I am here. But it was pushing the brake pedal an x amount of time and tightening the gas cap.

I tried doing it as close to it as possible, but it isn’t fixing the issue. I am not sure if I am doing it correctly.

Any suggestions as to how it’s done or what could perhaps be the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot. :)

These lights flash when there is a problem with the ABS and traction control, we should run the codes to see what comes up, this guide can help. Also check the brake fluid level.

Usually, it will be a wheel speed sensor is not working, here is how you can replace the front sensor which you can see is not very hard. Let me know which code comes up. You can get a scanner from Amazon for about $20.00. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
