It’s been twice now that the traction control light went on while I’m driving my vehicle. It started after the transmission cooler line was repaired and that was a month ago. And yesterday while I was driving to work, the traction control went on again. After I turned off the engine and started again, the light is off. What must be the problem? Thanks a lot and hoping your most appreciated reply.

Welcome back. There are many things that can cause that light to come on. From a bad speed sensor at a wheel or an internal transmission problem. It could even be a loose connection in the wiring to the transmission. The place to start would be to get the power-train scanned, even with the light off a code should be stored. That would give you at least a direction to start looking.

Is it okay to just disable the traction control by removing the fuse?

There should be a switch that lets you turn it off. However without knowing what is the root cause of the problem you could do damage to other parts if you just pull a fuse. There is also the issue that there is not a dedicated traction control fuse, it is all integrated into the ABS and stability control so there is no fuse to pull that won't activate even more lights and disable the ABS.
Also this vehicle may still be under the 5 year/100K powertrain warranty depending on when it was sold.
