If this sensor goes bad will it shut down fuel flow

It won't shut down the fuel pump, as far as I know. If your having fuel issues, check fuel pressure.

What kind of problem are you having? What makes you think the tps has a problem?

When it's cold, will crank right up and run fine. After warm up, skips and sputters like it has jumped time when you try to accelerate

it sounds like you have an engine coolant temperature sensor that has gone out but to be sure can we run the codes to see what come up? Here is a guide to help us get started.
