Any information whether or not a throttle position sensor has to be set or adjusted on this model?

Nope. Bolt it on and the engine computer will learn the voltage it reads when your foot is off the accelerator pedal. From then on, it will know when it needs to be in control of idle speed any time it sees that same voltage.
