Hi,

Just got a 2nd hand yaris and am noticing that the clutch pedal is VERY hard to press, making the car un-driveable in traffic. Gears slot in without a problem though so i doubt it's the clutch. What could be the cause of this please?

Thanks

Most likely the clutch pedal or actuator rod is binding.

You would have to disassemble to repair.
