wanting to service tranny. going to change trans filter should I have fluid flushed or just refill. Which trans fluid for 03 tundra v6, and what about in line filter.

Recommended transmission fluid is Lexus/Toyota Type T-IV ATF.

Draining and refilling would be the recommended choice unless the trans fluid is in bad condition.

There are no in-line filter but there is a oil cooler for towing packages and it is a maintenance free component.
