Power Steering Pump is making a winding noise as you drive or the truck is at a idle. It is full of power sterring fluid. Should I replace the pump or filters to the pump. If you replace the filters to the pump will the winding noise stop. what makes the winding noise.

that's possible, another issue may be air in the system. take off the PS resevoir cap and work wheels back and forth to work out the air. fill up PS fluid as needed and see if it helped. if neither helps then could just be a failing pump.
