1999 Toyota Tercel Manual

hi i just had our transmission replaced on this 1999 tercel of mine and was told by my parents that im supposed to add some gear oil... what type should i get and where do i put it in and how ? thanks for the help

SAE 80W90 gear oil-the fill plug should be on the side of the transmission-sorry no pic available-fill it till you can feel the oil at the opening-
