the car wont start it has a new starter and it makes no noise just a clicking noise when trying to be started, but i have power for the raido and lights

HI there,

Check if the starter solenoid is getting power, thats the small wire attached to the starter, this should have power when you turn the key to start, if so and you have 12V at the main starter terminal, just check that the battery connections are clean and tight , if so you will have a faulty starter. Start here,
