Transmission problem
1996 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

i have no visible signs of fluid leaking anywhere but have had to fill the fluid twice in the past 10 days. the passenger side driveshaft has been recently been replaced. Is it possible that this has anything to do with the transmission leak?

Check if it is leaking behind the drive shaft rubber boot attached to the transmission. There is a O rubber seal where you insert the driveshaft to the transmission to pevent the trans. fluid from leaking.
