Could you help me out with the procedure to adjust the valves on my 95 tercel. I have lost power and have noticed alot of clattering from my head.

Toyota uses shims to adjust valve clearence, and you need a special tool to remove shims.

Remove valve cover and check clearence, .008 on intake and .010 on exhaust, on COLD engine.
