1994 Toyota Tercel Battery and Ebrake lights

Electrical problem
1994 Toyota Tercel 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100k miles

The Battery and Ebrake lights keep on flashing on and off on the road. There doesnt seem to be any problem with the battery nor is the ebrake on even though the lights flash. Could it be that the electrical shorted? i accidentally put a wrench on the battery and it connected and sparks went up but thats about all i can think of as a problem.

Any solutions welcome

Check and test all the fusible links and get the alternator load tested.
