Im told engine is back firing ?? Not sure what this means?? tail pipe smokes perfusely; sputtering noise?? Recently repaired cam seal and belts. Car has back firing issues Does current repairs relate to recent repairs???

maybe it is bad gas, add dry gas and see what.
remove your spark plug and note what colors are they,and get back to me
