Can the water pump be replaced without replacing the timing chain? I think the upper timing chain cover has to be removed but I am not sure about the chain. Thanks.

Hi there,

This is a belt driven engine, the belt will have to be removed to fit a pump, as a new belt is very cheap, i would advise that you replace the belt at the same time.
