I HAVE A 1988 TERCEL AUTO TRANS 1500 MOTOR

CAR WONT RUN UNLESS YOU PUMP THE GAS PEDAL
I HAVE CHECKED FUESES NONE BLOWN ...
REPLACED CARB NO GOOD HAS ASIA CARB
REPLACED IN LINE FUEL FILTER HAS FUEL THERE
REPLACED MANUAL FUEL PUMP STILL WONT RUN UNLESS YOU PUMP GAS PEDAL...SO BOUGHT A ELETRIC FUEL PUMP PUT IN LINE NO GOOD...(IM STUMPED )WHAT DO I REPLACE NEXT....ANYONE KNOW WHATS WRONG...NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW ..I SURE DONT...HA THANKS JEFF :?:

Remove the aircleaner cover open up the choke plate wide open-pull the throttle lever back a few times do you see fuel squirting out of the accelerator pump.

Do you still have the electric pump hooked-up.

If the camshaft lobe is worned-out where the fuel pump engages it, it will not operate the fuel pump therefore no fuel will be available.
