1987 Toyota Tercel

my 87 tercel won't stay charged, we pulled the ground off the battery and it died.. so we assumed it was the alternator, went and bought a new one. still not staying running after the cables are took off

Get the new alternator load tested, don't assume its good bcuz its new and then comeback

Check all the fuses and double check the wiring going to the charge indicator and back to the alternator
