How do you check if the engine is running cold or whether the temperature sensor is faulty.

run engine till it feels warm and touch hoses by hand should be pretty hot. or you can use a heat gun and measure heat and compare it.

or you can take sensor out and put it in boiling water while its connected to its harness and see if it jumps up to hot.
