Steering problem
1986 Toyota Tarago 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a toyota tarago (1986). When cornering it finds a stiff spot and wont self correct easily, could it be tie rod ends? (non power steering) I have another van with power steering how big a job is it to convert?

Hi there,

Faulty tie rod ends would not produce this type of problem, it could well be a fault in the box, it is adjustable, this should be done by a qualified mechanic, as for the conversion, it will take you the best part of a day if you are well equipped, it is not hard just time consuming.
