I originally thought I had a blown head gasket but it doesn't smell like cooland it smells like raw gas. The engine has a dead skip at low rpm's white smoke but smells like gas, skips no coolant loss. Could it be an injector flooding the cylinder with gas, could it be a bad regulator? I just dont think its a blown head gasket. Thanks in advance. William

Possible causes include a bad O2 sensor, excessive fuel pressure (bad fuel pressure regulator or plugged return line), leaky fuel injectors, dirty air filter or restricted air inlet, or a defective coolant sensor that prevents the engine management system from going into closed loop mode.
