MY FRIEND HAS TOLD ME THAT WHEN HE STARTS HIS TRUCK IN THE MORNING THAT THE MOTOR WILL START TO HAVE A KNOCKING NOISE, WILL GO AWAY AFTER A LITTLE WHILE, BUT LATELY HAS GOTTEN ALOT WORSE. RECENTLY IT WAS SO BAD THAT IT WOKE UP THE PEOPLE IN HIS HOUSE. WE THOUGHT THAT IT MIGHT BE A PISTON SLAP NOISE. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP.

Hi there,

you should do a cold oil pressure test with a mechanical gauge, and note how long it takes to build up oil pressure, do this and report your findings.
