A few days ago I got in my 01 tacoma to head to work and noticed the vehicle was running rough. It would idle OK, but as soon as I gave it some gas I noticed that not all of the cylinders were firing. I checked my OBD scanner and it told me that I had random misfire and misfire on the #2 cylinder. I thought it might be the spark plugs or wires so I replaced them. No luck. Then, the vehicle stopped idling. My truck starts and runs for about 5 seconds and dies. Giving it gas and or feathering the throttle doesn't help. I went through my manual and checked the coils, camshaft sensor, and crankshaft sensor. OK. I then checked the fuel pump which seemed to be OK and the pressure regulator. OK. Any other advice?
