My 1998 Toyota Tacoma will not start after it sits for several hours until I give it a shot of Starting fluid or try to crank it several times then it starts and runs fine. It will re-start if warm, but once it cools, same drill I have changed Plugs so far. Any more suggestions? Also in the morning it starts right up and runs for a min. and shuts off and than is very difficult to start. But than it will be ok for the rest of the day. terry

Test fuel system, include a pessure test of the fuel pump and regulator, and leak down test of the injectors, but when was the last fuel filter replacement?

i ALSO USE LPG and still get a stall when I engage the trans with gasoline or gas when it's cold- so maybe the injectors need to be ?? sensors ?//?[/quote:dcff26ef17]

Starting and stalling immediately could be related to the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor.

Have you tried retrieving for diagnostic Trouble codes? did the Check Engine Light shows while driving?

LPG operations does not involve the injectors and I would be more inclined to believe it is a problem with the ignition system, more likely to be sparks plugs or related items, such as ignition coils.
