Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 138K miles
My check enging light came on this morning on my way to work. I pulled into a parking lot and hooked up my scanner. I got a PO301 code. I managed to get back home. The engine was running real rough and had no power. I changed out the plugs, distributor cap and rotor button. I started it up it was still missing but then ran smooth then it started missing again, no pattern to this as far as I can tell. Anything else I should try or should it go to the mechanic?
