I am going to buy a toyota 1988 supra turbo targa, the guy told me that there is a leak in the steering fluid and he has been using some sort of fluid seal and works for a month or so. I was wondering if I could get a full checkup of the car with a mechanic and put the car in full servicing. Will they fix the problem, if not how do I fix the problem.

I would think they would fix the problem, I also believe the reason why this person keeps putting sealer into the power steering system is because it is a costly repair, one of the seals inside the power steering rack is bad, therefore they will have to pull the whole rack out and replace it or put new one in.

Thnx for the reply, but how much would you guess it would cost me. Can I go on like that as putting sealer in it and drive my way around or it will hamper the car.

You 'll probably get away with it for a little while until that seal gives complete way. Now if its just the seal they have to replace, it'll be a few hundred, but if your gonna have to replace the entire rack, your looking closer to a thousand dollars for a new one, a remanufactured one maybe 500.00

In this case it sounds like you have a starter problem or the connections are not good, someone will have to check it, and also test the battery for good measure

I heard about this thing called seafoam, which they say will clean your engine and restore performace. Is it true that it really does that. Wat are the negative effects of seafoam and will it hamper my engine in long run. I was hoping to use seafoam in my fueltank.

Yes, seafoam is pretty awesome, if you put it in your gas tank, it cleans all of your fuel system reallly well. If you use it as a "top engine" cleaner, which means it has to carefully be sucked into the vacuum system to clean the top parts of the engine and free it from carbon buildup, also known as a "decarb" both excellent ways to clean the interior of your engine. But I must warn you, you must know what your doing when performing a decarb because you can lock up your engine if you let too much seafoam in at one time. I dont know of anyone who has had their vehicle damaged from seafoam. Awesome tool. Thanx for coming and come back anytime, no question is too small.
Have a nice day

I open the charcoal air pipe and the pipe from the engine, which are both connected to a place situated infront of the engine. I forget how the two line goes, does the charcoal pipe goes on top or bottom. I would really appreciate it if you answer my question fast coz I am really scared.
