i was driving my car home from work which is about 20 miles away from home. everything was fine until i reached my small two lane highway near my house. there was stop and go traffic, and my engine started idling funny, like it wasnt getting enough gas. i would press the accelerator, and it would come back up. after the third time i did this, the car went to the same idling, then died. i could not get it to restart, so i let it roll to the shoulder. i tried to crank it a few times, but no luck. i had to call roadside assistance to get a tow to my house. not sure exactly what is wrong with it. it seems like it is not getting any fuel on startup, but i am not sure. any suggestions?

Hi pnubthegreat,

Test the fuel pressure. If there is not enough pressure, you need to check fuel pump, relay and pressure regulator.
