everytime i get the timing right at 10 degrees it cuts out. when the timing is off it doesn't cut out and runs fine in that regard

When you're checking timing are you jumpering Te-1 to E-1 in the check connector

yeah..its weird when the timing is right (10 degrees) it cuts out at 2500 rpms. hen its way off it doesnt cut out..im thinking its the tps?
