Dear Sir
On start up of my van the power steering howels as if it is low on fluid. It goes away after a few seconds. I have checked the level and it it fine. This evening something different happened. The van was warmed up and I was a few miles from home already. I went around a corner and after I had been going straight for about 50 meters the howl returned for quite a few seconds. It was very loud has I could hear it over the radio with the windows up. These vans are very sound prove, Is it my power steering pump that needs to be replaced?
Thanks for your time, Terry Elliott

Hi Terry,

Did you confirm that the noise is from the power steering pump?
Did you check the pump belt tension?
