1999 Toyota Sienna 6 cyl Automatic 90500 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I recently had my 90,000 service which included a timing belt replacement. Now the engine seems to be "working harder". It takes longer to kick into 2nd and 3rd gear (rpm is higher before it shifts) and basically does not have the same amount of "pick-up". It is much slower going uphill, and again, doesn't have the "pick-up" or ability to quickly accelerate as it did before the service. It also appears the MPG is about 16 instead of the usual 19-21. Could the timing belt have something to do with this? If so, what questions do I ask the mechanic who performed the service?
Thanks for your help!
