2003 Toyota Sequoia oil pressure guage

if the oil pressure guage stays low all the time, even though there is plenty of oil, what is the most likely problem?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
