2006 Toyota Rav4 oil consumption

I just wrote in asking about high oil comsumption, and I am using 10W20 weight. Why do you think it is burning this much oil?, and what is the advantage of using synth oil?

oil consumption can mean many things, are you getting any smoke from the tailpipe(exhaust) blue smoke?

No, there is no blue smoke or leakage from undercarriage. I also looked at the engine, and don't see any oil leaking.
