My Toyota puts out a puff of white smoke from the exhaust when started. It only does if the car has sat idle for a few hours (ie overnight).

A "puff" isnt usually a big deal, water vapor collects in the exhaust as it cools, and this can happen until it warms up...if however it continues during hot driving, then there is a problem. Keep an eye on your radiator coolant level, just in case.
