Brakes problem
2002 Toyota Rav4 Engine Size unknown All Wheel Drive Manual 112000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Today when i was driving i could hear a very high pitched screeching sound. It was more obvious when i was turning. I wasnt one hundred convinced its the wearing of brake pads as my car was only inspected and passed the brake test one month ago. I am also assuming that even if they were getting dangerously low that I would have been notified by the mechanics who performed the inspection. By the way it was using some sort of brake testing machine that produces a passed or failed slip. I ended up using a high pressured hose to wash the brakes out and the screeching has seemed to stop. What do you think this is and should i be concerned?

The squealer can be contributed by using wrong type of brake pads and not resurfacing the rotors.

In conclusion the partschanger didn't do a professional job that's my 2cts on it.
