2001 Toyota Rav4 grinding

i just noticed my car was grinding (i think it might be my brakes) but i'm not sure. i just noticed it. my car is stopping ok, but the brakes feel alot different than my mom's newer car. how much does a brake repair cost. thanks

I agree it is probably the brakes that are grinding, Normal job is about 150-200 per axle, but if it's grinding, you may need rotors or even calipers, the longer you wait, the more expensive it will get!
