2001 Toyota RAV4 grinding

I just noticed my car was grinding (i think it might be my brakes) but i'm not sure. I just noticed it. My car is stopping ok, but the brakes feel alot different than my mom's newer car. How much does a brake repair cost. Thanks

I agree it is probably the brakes that are grinding, Normal job is about 150-200 per axle, but if it's grinding, you may need rotors or even calipers, the longer you wait, the more expensive it will get!
