1999 Toyota Rav4 funny sound when braking

1999 Toyota Rav4 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 198000 miles

If I use my emergency brake when I park and then I drive my truck ..... my truck will give off a sound like a sonar as I apply the brakes.

Hi there,

I would be getting the rear brakes & park brake inspected for any damage or contamination from oil or grease, this may be the brake binding up and releasing when you drive off causing this ping sound, also get the cable checked for binding as well.start here.
