1998 Toyota Rav4 Transmission jumps

Transmission problem
1998 Toyota Rav4 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

transmission jump as it changes gears. I have replaced the alternator because it was loosing power to the a/c so i don't know if the transmisson is the problem or the alternator

Go get a transmission service test & report done by a specialist transmission work shop, they will have the equipment to check this out for you.
