Somewhere between $700-$1000 depending on the vendor (dealer vs. Local garage)
It would be hard to predict the cost, since they may have to resurface the head or repair a stripped thread etc.
Get an estimate from a good mechanic or dealer, then make the descision as to weather or not it would be better to get a good used engine, or possibly a rebuilt one.
