1995 Toyota Previa overflow pipe leake

hi my previa is losing water through a small overflow pipe that comes through the floor near the engine bay and leaks onto a shaft that powers the water pump i think, any one know why it keeps leaking water? and how do i stop it? i have to fill the water back up every 2 days, the car doesnt overheat, many thanks
