1992 Toyota Previa gas tank

Need to drain gas tank, vehicle was in accident, need to get old gas out, prefer to siphon. Already siphoned 2 gallons using shop vac into gas can, does it very slow (1 gal/10-15 minutes, but hasn't stopped. Have to move 1/2 flex plastic hose up and down at bottom of reach to get anything. Safety not an issue, lots of precautions. Any suggestions?

punch a hole in the bottom of the tank with a scribe and let it drain in to a large pan.
